1849. Pair of single-storey and basement villas of unusual
design, projecting pediment-gabled end bays with octagonal
Doric column porches (glazed later) in re-entrant angles, 1
window each house between; stugged ashlar, small stop
chamfers at angles, cavetto cornices and blocking courses,
finials at straight skewed gables, 12-pane sashes. Slated
roof with central pair of diagonal shafted chimneys. Rubble
rear elevation, considerably altered.
