Description

Mid 19th century. Single storey gate lodge with Tudor
detailing. Ashlar. 3 gabled elevations each near-identical
and with (painted) projecting/canted castellated bays
with Tudor-arched lights, open porch in SE re-entrant
angle; finialed gables, skews stepped at eaves; coped
stacks; slate roofs. Timber-clad rear addition.
GATEPIERS: probably early 20th century; iron railings on
curved low quadrants, piers are channelled ashlar, tall inner
piers urn-finialed; 2-leaf carriage, single-leaf
pedestrian gates.
