Description

1834. Substantial 2-storey and attic, wide 3-bay S facing
house. Harled with tooled grey granite dressings and
margins.
Centre corniced and pilastered doorpiece with double leaf
panelled door. 2 modern flat roof dormers. Symmetrical
2-bay return gables (1 blind window E); symmetrical rear
with later centre stair window with late 19th century
coloured glazing. U-plan single storey range of offices
extend at rear.
12-pane glazing; pair corniced centre stacks; piended slate
roof.
Interior: little of interest survives; semi-circular
staircase at rear with slender wood balusters.
Single storey L-plan steading to rear; harl pointed rubble;
slate roof.
Gate piers: pair plain tooled granite ashlar gate piers
with flanking pedestrian entrances and piers; shallow
pyramidal caps; pair spearhead cast-iron carriage gates
with flanking matching pedestrian gates.
