1697 (? or slightly later) W. part, 3-storey 6-window,
rubble built symmetrical front with centre shouldered
and keystoned doorpiece flanked by windows; 4 column R-
doric porch with 1/2 columns instead of pilasters. Low
2nd floor. 2-storey parallel wing of same height and
length applied to E frontage in late 18th century, 5
large round headed windows 1st floor ashlar E. frontage
and 2 in S. gable blocked c.1880. Interior, entrance
hall has 7 bay colonnade of fluted doric columns with
circular abaci, fine original joinery; large drawing
room with decoration of Adam derivation. Later N. service
wing additions, offices now garages with arched and
keystoned windows dated 1772, part has bellcote. Rubble-
built garden walls.
