Description

Laird's house of about 1830. 2 storeys, roughcast walls,
painted margins, thin corner pilaster strips Eaves cornice,
slate roof, end bargeboards, stone stacks, dormers at
rear. Doric pilaster doorpiece with bosses to ends of
frieze. Sash windows, glazing bars to rear only. Projecting
stair with hipped roof to rear elevation. Low one-storey
cottage range attached to right gable end.

Statement of Interest

Prominently sited at the head of the village and adjoining

the entrance to the old Churchyard. Ground floor board up

at date of inspection.
