Circa 1770. Low and long 2-storey elevation 3 bays. Whin
rubble with dressed margins and slated roof. Central door
flanked by 2 windows, the right now doubled. At 1st floor
central window uses door lintel as cill, 2 outer windows
blind. Attic window in gable end, straight skews, end stacks
with thacking stanes.
Steading, 1834. U-plan, rubble-built with brick-arched
cart-sheds, pantile roofs, variety of window, door and loft
openings. Central cattle court with pantile roofs.
An unusual survival of the type of farm house frequently lost
with agricultural improvements.
Modern iron sheds not included; they replace horse mill.
