Description

Dated 1749. Classical burial enclosure. Ashlar 3-bay elevations with quoined angles, channelled pilaster strips, plain projecting entablature with cornice and blocking course, arched and keyblocked architraved recesses, some with memoiral tablets of 18th and 19th centuries. Central bay of entrance elevation has arched doorway with half-blocked architrave plain tympanum and double-leaved door, with leaves of

6 fielded panels, pediment over with scrolled blank cartouche set in boldly carved mantling. Interior unroofed, plain walls with sculpture opposite the entrance only: no memorials.
