Description

Probably built second half of 18th century. Roadbridge,
single segmental arch over Carron water; widened on corbel
tables in 19th century (latter survives to east) and again
widened in 20th century with secondary arch to west.
Rubble-built, with red ashlar dreessings. East parapet
widened at approaches (other parapet almost straight).
Square-section small tunnel on north abutment runs full width
of bridge.
