Dated 1842. Two segmental arches spanning the Kale Water. Droved sandstone ashlar, 2 string courses (one defining edge of voussoirs). Parapet with projecting cope stepped up in centre over datestones; splayed at ends, terminated by stumpy piers surmounted by piended capstones. Rounded stepped cutwater.
A fine 19th century road bridge with good stonework, occupying a relatively prominent and picturesque position on the B6461. The NW parapet wall is continuous with the wall and N gatepier of Caverton Mill House and was almost certainly designed as part of the same scheme.
