Mid 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay house flanked by long single
storey recessed wings. Painted rubble with smooth rusticated
quoins and raised margins.
Main elevation to S, door originally central now to left,
double-leaf panelled door. Ground floor windows have lowered
cills. To 1st, 3 single light windows. All sash and case with
8-pane glazing to ground and 4-pane to 1st.
Wings 2-bay with shallow advanced end bays with piend roof
over, near full-height windows with 8-pane sashes, to E wing
French door. Band course at eaves, good eaves cornice.
Piended roof to 2-storey house, tall end stacks with
octagonal cans, all slate roofs.
Lean-to veranda to full-width of 2-storey block supported on
delicate cast-iron filigree uprights, partly corrugated iron,
partly glazed roof.
Rear elevation with full-height piend roofed bay to centre,
to right 2-storey harled brick addition.
