Mid 19th century. Single storey with attic, 3-bay cottage. Droved ashlar with base and eaves course, quoin strips and raised margins.
W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Deep-set panelled door with 2-pane fanlight at centre and windows in flanking bays; 19th century rooflight and slate-hung canted dormer windows to outer bays.
12-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case windows. Grey slates. Ashlar coped skews, coped ashlar stacks with polygonal cans and thackstanes.
BOUNDARY WALL: coped rubble boundary wall (originally part of distillery wall).
Probably built as housing for Manager of the Grange Distillery. The Old Office House, Warehouse, Long Byre, Grange Flats and Main Gateway are listed separately.
