Description

Circa 1900. Pair of cottages built for the Knockbrex Estate.
Single storey and attic picturesque pair, each 3-bay flanked
by set-back lower bays (that to right with modern glazed
porch). Outer bays with projecting canted windows, centre
bays with timber boarded doors, small projecting
porch-lintels. Inner bays with tripartite windows. All
casement windows with small pane glazing. Small projecting
single light dormers light attic. Deeply overhanging swept
eaves, piended slate roofs, ceramic ridge with terminal
crockett crests. Corniced axial stacks.
Rear elevation similarly detailed with projecting canted bay
windows and tripartite windows, all with plate glass glazing.
