Description

Dated 1866. 2-storey, 3-bay N facing house (to
seaward). Harled frontage, rubble gables and rear,
contrasting painted margins. Centre entrance with
panelled door and inscribed lintel. Regular fenestration
with modern 12-pane glazing; enlarged ground floor rear
window. Coped end stacks; slate roof.

Lintel inscribed HW for Henry Watson, who built house,

and dated 1866. (Information by courtesy Henry Watson's

grandson, also of Whitehills).
