Description

Circa 1800. 3-storey in bank, embankment to top floor.
Rectangular plan, coursed rubble harl-pointed, brick kiln
with vent at S. end. Double-framed 10' start and awe wheel W.
flank with by-pass, sluice and floats almost rotted away;
late 19th century machinery by D. Thomson, Millwright,
Craibstone, complete and partly in use with electric motor.

Statement of Interest

The farmhouse at Mill of Durno farm is 18th century 2-storey

3-window but badly altered.
