Circa 1800. Square roofless dovecot. Dark whinstone rubble,
contrasting grey tooled granite dressings. Centre entrance
with small square vent above and continuous alighting/rat
ledge encircling building.
INTERIOR: approximately 200 nesting boxes, the supporting
uprights of brick, the horizontals of thin potterly slabs
designed for the purpose.
