Description

Circa 1900. Single storey, wide 3-bay range comprising 2
dwellings. White harled with contrasting brick dressings;
Entrance to Railway Cottage in W gable and to Mo Dhachaidh in
single bay weatherboarded extension at E. Segmental-headed
windows, bipartites in outer bays, all with pronounced brick
long and short detailing and linked by band and cill courses.
Multi-pane glazing to upper sashes. Deep base course; brick
long and short angles; end stacks; slate roofs with
projecting eaves.

Statement of Interest

Built for Invergarry - Fort Augustus Railway, constructed

and in operation only between 1896-1911.
