Description

Early/mid 19th century U shaped court of farm buildings facing north on to Gesto Bay. Unusual circular heated rubble henhouse with central chimney, internal central fireplace and conical roof. Also boat house. All whitewashed rubble with slate roofs.

Statement of Interest

Unusual henhouse still in use. Wooden door fitted with hen entrance at base and shutter. Appears on 1st ed OS of 1877.
