Later 18th century, high single-span hump-back rubble bridge;
dressed rubble keystoned arch ring springing from canted buttress/abutments at north and south banks. Low parapet
with tooled rubble copes meet to form shallow point in
centre. Splayed approaches. Approx span; 60'.
Carrued General Wade's military road (1728-30) from Inverness
to Dunkeld via Sluggan. Formerly crossed Nairn River about
150' (50m) further west.
