John MacCulloch, 1807-8, repaired 1834, originally 2-storey 3-bay house Baronialised with substantial additions Thomas MacKenzie, 1848-9 to form 3-storey S facing L-plan house with drum tower entrance porch in SW re-entrant angle corbelled out to square cap-house at 2nd floor. Harled, red ashlar dressings. Moulded architraves to doorway and windows; panelled door. Canted bay window in ground floor of S gable, regular fenestration above; mainly 2-pane glazing; crowsteps; coped end stacks; slate roof.
Pair later tripartites to rear of house; later single storey and attic wing projects at E.
Interior: later 19th century pine staircase with turned balustrade, panelled square newels with ball finials; simple moulded ceiling cornices.
Steading: single storey and loft L-plan steading range; harl pointed rubble, rubble dressings; local slate roof.
