Dated 1777 and 1933. Single storey cottage of 3 bays. Harled, contrasting painted chamfered ashlar margins. Centre door with datestone and worn initials above; 4-pane glazing. Coped end stacks; slate roof.
Worn 1777 initials are TF for Thomas Forsyth and (?) IS (presumably his wife). 1933 date probably records slating of roof and other restoration work. Cottage shown on 1783 plan of Fochabers and is the earliest identified house in the 'New Town'.
