Probably 17th century. Ruined 3-stage round tower, open at
south; original north tower of Douglas Castle (burned 1758)
and now only surviving fragment. Snecked stugged ashlar.
Altered large rectangular openings at each stage, some
blocked stages divided by band courses and capped by cornice.
Rough masonry where originally attached to castle.
