Earlier 19th century with near-contemporary sympathetic addition. 2-storey classical house made L-plan by addition to W, and with single storey service block. Variegated ashlar. Pedimented gables. Base course. Eaves cornice. Lintel course at 1st floor. Raised margins and angle margins. Smaller windows at 1st floor.
S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: gabled wing advanced to right. Corniced ashlar porch in re-entranct angle, with pilastered angle; door to W, with letter-box fanlight; fanlight window to S. Regularly disposed fenestration. 2-bay W return, with stair window above porch to left; window at ground and 1st floor to right, repeated on wing to left.
N ELEVATION: 2-bay. Bay to left gabled; distryle in antis portico at ground, blocked with window; window at 1st floor. Blind window at ground and 1st floor in bay of later wing to right. Corniced screen wall slightly recessed to right; pier to right, surmounted by urn. Corniced single storey wing, formed behind former screen wall to left, slightly recessed to N and S with windows; pier to left, surmounted by urn.
W ELEVATION: gabled bay. Window at ground and 1st floor.
E ELEVATION: stair window at centre. Single storey flat-roofed wing adjoined, with door and window to E.
Small-pane glazing patterns in sash and case windows. Ashlar wallhead stacks, to right to N and E. Purple-grey slates. Some original rainwater goods.
