Late 18th century. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Symmetrical country
house with later additions. Roughly coursed rubble with
polished margins and rusticated quoins. Central pedimented
bay, slightly advanced, with door and flanking side lights.
12-pane sashwindows throughout, that over door with apron
panel. Tall 'Y'-traceried pointed-arched stair window to
rear rising into pediment. Eaves course and cornice to all
elevations. 2 symmetrically-placed stacks and piended
platform roof. Recessed early 20th century 2-storey, 3-bay
extension to left is rubble-built with ashlar margins and
rusticated quoins; piended wall-head gables to 1st floor
windows. Eaves course, cornice and piended slate roof.
Interior with good pine panelling and curved cantilevered
stair. Walled garden to the east is late 18th century.
Various inserted datestones and marriage lintels from an
earlier house on the site.
