Description

Stewart C Paterson of Glasgow.
Built circa 1929. Large neo-Tudor villa with mullioned
/mullioned and transomed windows. White harled, with
contrasting red brick dressings and tiled roof. Two storeys
with attic. Essentially U-plan, courtyard faces north east,
central block with central recessed door under arched
cavetto head; tall windows in re-entrant angles, left
gable with projecting chimney breast and ingle - neuk
windows. Asymmetrical long south west elevation with gables
and canted window; door recessed behind wide arched opening.
Leaded glazing. Brick cornices; piended small dormers;
decorative stacks.
