Late 18th century, with late 20th century alterations. 2 storeys, 3 bays with replacement door and window to ground L. Painted pebbledash with painted angle and window margins; eaves course and moulded eaves cornice.
S (REAR) ELEVATION: modern single storey projecting bay; irregular fenestration.
Timber sash and case windows (4-pane glazing). Non-traditional concrete tiled roof replacing slates; no stacks retained.
INTERIOR: nothing original remaining.
A late 18th century 2-storey 3-bay building typical of that period of building in Eglinton Street, No 45 is however one of the plainer examples. The glazing has been altered in the mid 19th century (most likely from 12-pane sashes), with the introduction of larger sheets of glass, though the timber frames are probably original and have had their astragals 'knocked out'.
