Early 19th century. Single storey, 6-bay, rectangular-plan cottage with wing to rear. Tooled, snecked sandstone rubble with broached dressings. Projecting cills; long and short quoins.
N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: asymmetrical; 2 8-pane windows to central 2 bays; boarded timber door to penultimate bay to left; bipartite window to penultimate bay to right, flanked to left by infilled doorway; bipartite window to outer left; boarded timber door to outer right.
W ELEVATION: obscured by adjoining building.
S ELEVATION: not seen 1998.
E ELEVATION: asymmetrical; window off-centre to left of gabled bay. Single storey, 2-bay wing to outer left; window to centre, flanked to left by small 2-pane window.
Predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case windows. Red pantiled roof with slate easing course and terracotta ridge. Stone skews. Coped sandstone gablehead stack; harled, coped modern ridge stack with circular can. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
