Description

Circa 1900. Ashlar, gabled frontage housing changing rooms with projecting crowstepped porch and crenellated entrance, decorative crowstepped gable ends with large lunette sub-divided with smaller windows. From this extends swimming pool of 7 buttressed bays, each filled by round headed tripartites; canted 5 sided south end.

Continuous string course and moulded eaves cornice; glazed roof to pool; slated with polygonal ridge ventilator to changing rooms.

Tiles and chequer paved interior surround pool.

Statement of Interest

Was occasionally fitted with temporary wooden floor covering pool to serve as ballroom.
