Description

Steading; dated 1866. Large L-plan range of farm buildings, with SE re-entrant filled by 3 jerkin headed gabled symmetrical

bays, each with wide centre entrance. All rubble with bullfaced

rubble dressings. Site slopes away to north, accommodating 4

segmental headed cart arches and boiler house with truncated

chimney at lower level. Louvred saddle ridge vents; slate roofs.

Dairy; circa 1866. Small square single storey rubble dairy;

pyramidal slated roof with centre louvred vent with diminutive

pyramidal roof topped by decorative cast-iron finial. Later

rubble lean-to extension at south elevation.

Interior; plain interior fitted with stone shelves.
