Probably early 19th century.
Single storey and lofted store and fishing station.
Rubble-built with squared dressings.
E ELEVATION: door off-centre right and window at its right.
W ELEVATION: 1 narrow window off-centre right to lower floor.
S GABLE: straight flight of steps to loft door.
N GABLE: 1 window to upper floor in gable head.
End, coped stacks, that to S dummy, slate roof.
Built probably with the loft as a store for wool brought by
the crofters in Glendale for export.
Wool stores in barns have been identified in Lochaber
District.
Herring curing was also carried on in the building, hence the
chimney.
