Thomas Telford, circa 1804. Slightly hump-back rubble bridge;
single dressed rubble arch ring and low parapet.
Bridge built under auspices of Commissioners for Highland
Roads and Bridges, on road from Corran Ferry to Lochmoidart.
Now by-passed. Plaque embedded in parapet reads; "This
bridge is the joint private property of Rt. Hon. Lord
Howard of Glossop and Charles Duneill Rudd Esq. of
Ardnamurchan as per agreement dated 14-20th July 1899 and
the March between the Dorlin and Ardnamurchan Estates is the
centre of the River below this Tablet." River Shiel forms
boundary with Ardnamurchan Parish.
