Symmetrical late 18th century, 2-storey and attic, 3-bay
central block, flanked by mid 19th century 2-storey single
bay wings. Harled, with polished ashlar margins. Central
advanced pedimented bay has angle margins and corniced
doorpiece with blocking course, supported by 2 pairs of
Roman Doric columns. 1st floor tripartite has blind central
light, cornice below attic window. Central attic window
below pediment and corniced, octagonal apex stack. Sash
windows in architraves throughout. Angle margins, eaves
course, cornice and blocking course. 2 20th centruy splayed
dormers, end stacks and slate roof. Flanking wings have
canted floor 4-light bays with parapet and 1st floor
windows with pedimented gables. Angle margins and eaves
course. Slate roof. Rounded stair turrent and extensive
additions to rear.
