Seven terrace houses. Early C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, slate roof to No.9, corrugated iron to Nos 10-15 bricked up and virtually derelict.
PLAN: Double depth plans.
EXTERIOR: Terrace designed in three groups of symmetrical pairs with blind windows to party walls. No.9 single attached house to left. Two storeys and lower ground floors, each house has two-window range. Coped parapets, cornices, first floor sill bands, blind window to party walls and shallow semicircular arched recesses to ground floor openings. No.9 has double stack to right party wall, plate glass sash windows and four-panel door and overlight to left.
INTERIORS: Not inspected.
HISTORY: These houses are mentioned by Egan's `Walks Through Bath' in 1819: `Along the banks of the canal a new range of small neat residences are nearly finished'.
