Row of three cottages stepped downhill at right-angle to road from No.62 to south. Late C17/early C18, altered C19 and C20.
MATERIALS: Limestone rubble, pantile roofs with moulded stacks to party walls, right gable end and one lateral stack to rear of No.62.
PLAN: One and two-unit plans.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys, two and three-window range. No.60 to right formerly two single-unit cottages with stack to coped party wall with moulded kneelers. First floor of gable end C19 ashlar. Two and three-light C20 casement windows rise through eaves, ground floor openings have freestone surrounds, stone lintel to planked door to right continues over small window to right. Left hand range has continuous dripmould over three-light window with roll edges to flat stone mullions and C20 window, formerly door to left.
INTERIOR: Not inspected. No.61 to centre also formerly two cottages, three-window range. C17 ovolo moulded stone mullions and C20 glazing to three-light windows at eaves level that flank C20 casement window in rusticated freestone architrave, probably C18. Similar architraves and windows to ground floor, door to left.
INTERIOR: Deep chimney breast to former party wall implies former open fire. No.62 facing west, three-window range, C20 windows and door, mostly in altered openings.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
