House and shop to the corner of Nile Street. Early C19.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, slate mansard roof hipped to right corner with dormers and moulded stacks to party walls and left of centre ridge.
PLAN: Double depth plan.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys with attic and four-window front. Coped parapet, cornice, lintel frieze and ground floor platband returned to right, six/six-pane sash windows to second floor, sills just above platband and six/nine-pane sashes with vertical bars to balconettes to first floor, six/six-pane sash to ground floor left, paired six-panel doors and overlights to left of centre, panelled pilasters, fascia with cornice and turned colonnette to centre of two-pane plate glass window to right. Half glazed door and overlight set in corner canted to ground floor with triangular overhanging porch. Right return has similar early C19 shop window to ground floor and similar windows to upper floors (that to second floor left is blind).
