Inn. Early C18 altered late C18 with C19 and C20 additions.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar and rubblestone, hipped double Roman tile roof with moulded stacks to gable ends and rear.
PLAN: three-unit plan with late C18 front and late C19 rear additions.
EXTERIOR: late C18 (possibly early C19) front block remodelled earlier single storey building, evidenced by painted rubblestone ground floor and left return where lower gable of rubblestone block visible. First floor ashlar with six/six-pane sash windows, to left in first floor canted bay with Inn sign on wrought iron bracket to left, that to right has timber lintel. Two C19 sash windows below at different levels. Attached to left high rubblestone wall with C20 window, left return connects with single storey entrance block. Left return of original block, facing east, has late C18 attic storey added above cornice, parapet raised over paired six/six-pane sash windows and cants sharply down to original level at sides, roof half-hipped to meet it. To first floor tripartite 6/6-pane sash flanked by four/four-pane sashes with some crown glass. Door in C20 single storey projecting block. C19 rubblestone block to rear has pantile roof and coped parapets to gable ends.
