Description

BRADFORD ROAD, Combe Down
(North side)

County boundary marker at ST 7558 6242

II

Boundary marker. Dated 1912. Cast-iron. Hollow triangular post to canted triangular top, part buried by pavement, remains approx 600mm high. Painted white, with raised lettering in black: top '1912', to right 'SOMERSET C C' and to left 'CITY OF BATH'. Boundaries have since changed, and this remains valuable historical reminder of former situation. Marker lies directly opposite parish boundary marker (qv) on south side of Bradford Road.
