MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar to front and rear, double-pipe parapeted mansard roof, artificial slate to front and rear with coped party wall to right with two ashlar stacks with early clay pots back-to-back with stacks of No.18 Bennett Street adjoining (qv).
EXTERIOR: Three storeys, attic and basement; three window front. First floor has three nine/nine sashes in splayed ovolo moulded architraves with friezes and cornices with lowered stone sills with continuous wrought iron balcony with slatted iron deck. Second floor has three six/six sashes in ovolo moulded architraves with stone sills. Ground floor has to right two six/six sashes in splayed reveals with stone sills, to left eight panel door with fielded panels with reeded frieze and tall plate glass overlight with pennant step in beaded plain reveal heightened almost to band course; Pennant paved crossover flush with pavement paved with three large pennant slabs with cast iron footscraper. Basement has two six/six sashes in splayed reveals with stone sills, C20 half-glazed door in ashlar infilling under crossover, limestone area steps with Pennant inserts to treads and wrought iron handrail. One single and one double dormer with six/six sashes. Band course over ground floor, modillion eaves cornice and coped parapet continuous with No.18 Russell Street and No.16 Bennett Street (qv). Lead hopperhead and downpipe to left shared with No.16 Bennett Street. Rear elevation partially visible has plate glass sashes.
INTERIOR: Not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: Attached wrought iron railings and gate with shaped heads on limestone bases.
