House, built as part of terrace of houses stepped up Lansdown Hill. Late C18.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, painted on ground floor, with double Roman tile roof.
PLAN: Double depth plan with right hand entrance.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys and attic, narrow single bay frontage. Ground floor has paired plain sashes with narrow stone mullion, in plain reveals. Six panel door with John Wood type cornice head on consoles. Platband to first floor level. First floor has paired plain sashes with dropped shared sills and shared wrought iron balconette. Mullion between windows wider than on floor below. Second floor has triple plain sash with shared sill and balconette. Cornice, parapet, mansard roof with triple flat topped dormer with plain plate glass sashes, ashlar stack to right with some pots. Rear elevation not seen.
INTERIOR: Refitted in 2002. This bar was formerly the Bee Hive Inn.
