Three houses at end of row. Early C19 with C20 alterations.
MATERIALS: Limestone ashlar, slate roofs.
PLAN: Narrow single depth plan with sundry rear additions.
EXTERIOR: Three storeys, each one window, twelve-pane paired sashes at first and second floors, but blind at second floor to Nos 8 and 10, and plain to first floor, No.10, with small twelve-pane to ground floor. Each has panelled door under slab hood on brackets, shared to Nos 8/9, which also have original cast iron footscrapers. Plain band above first floor, and cavetto cornice, blocking course and parapet. Coped left gable end plain. Rear, with parapet, has various lights, including paired eight-pane sashes to No.9, and No.10 has all C20 windows, including dormer, above deep lean-to extension. Above first floor heavy quadrant mould string, cut through at rainwater drops.
INTERIORS: Not inspected. Modest artisan cottages, probably serving Widcombe Manor, and built at same time as Nos 5-7 (qv), in slightly varied detail.
