Farmhouse. Early-mid C19. Red brick in Flemish bond, Westmorland slate roof
with C20 tiles to rear wing. 2 storeys, 3 bays with wing of several builds
to rear right. Brick plinth. Steps to central door in pedimented wooden
doorcase; flanking 16-pane sashes with stone sills and wedge lintels.
1st-floor: central sash with glazing bars; outer windows as below. Hipped
roof with end stacks having ashlar bands and cap stones. Right return: old
sash with glazing bars to ground-floor right; fire insurance plaque near
eaves; wing set back on right altered and partly of later build.
Interior: entrance hall has contemporary doors in architraves with corner
roundels; contemporary wooden staircase.
