K6 telephone kiosk. Designed in 1935 by Giles Gilbert Scott. Made by various manufacturers. Cast-iron. Square on plan with shallow domed roof and margin glazing bars to sides and door. Canopy dome placed above the four arched sides, each with an unperforated crown over glazed panel inscribed TELEPHONE.
This K6 telephone kiosk stands in a good 'heritage location' in the centre of Ashley village.
