Terrace of four estate cottages. Built 1894 for the third Earl of Eldon. Rock-faced coursed limestone. Red clay plain tile roof with exposed rafter and purlin ends and with tile coping to verge parapets. Axial and gable-end stacks with weathered set-offs and red brick shafts with projecting flues.
PLAN: Terrace of four cottages, No.15 3-bays, Nos.17-21 2-bays.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. 3:2:2:2 bay north east front with 4-pane sashes with cambered arches to windows and doorways, the doorways with rectangular overlights and panelled and glazed doors.
Including rock-faced limestone garden area walls in front with saddle-back coping and gate-piers.
INTERIORS not inspected.
Well designed example of late Victorian estate housing.
