Farmhouse, now house. Late C16, altered and extended mid C20.
MATERIALS: timber frame with brick infill, left gable end
painted render. Old tile gabled roof.
PLAN: rectangular baffle entry plan of 3 framed bays and one
narrow bay containing the entry and chimney. Extension at
rear.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. One chimney with clay pots. C20 leaded
casement windows. Irregular south-east entrance front.
3:1:2:2-light windows of different sizes on first floor.
2:1:2:2-light windows of different sizes on ground floor. C20
wooden door between 2nd and 3rd windows.
INTERIOR: most of timber frame exposed on first floor. Queen
post roof with straight braces and clasped purlins. Principal
beams on ground floor are chamfered and have shield stops.
