House, now offices. C17, extended and refaced C18, altered and
extended late C20.
MATERIALS: part timber frame encased in brick, part brick in
Flemish bond with some dark headers. Old tile gabled roof.
PLAN: formerly rectangular plan of 2 framed bays with 2 bay
crosswing.
EXTERIOR: Part 2 storeys, part 2 storeys and attic. Large,
tall chimney on left with corniced head and clay pots; smaller
chimney in right. C18 and C20 replacement sash windows with
glazing bars and gauged brick heads. Entrance (south) front:
one bay projecting gable at left with plat band at first
floor; moulded brick string at attic level. Open eaves. This
gable had formerly 2 windows on ground and first floors, now
blocked, but gauged brick arched heads remain. Right hand
section of 3-bays and irregular. Platband at first floor,
later parapet. Gauged brick arches over windows. Entrance door
on left with pedimented hood over on small wooden brackets.
