House, now shop. Probably C17, incorporating part of medieval
city walls to cellar, with later additions and alterations
including ground floor shop front c1900. Timber frame with
hitewashed roughcast, glazed tile plinth to shop front and plain
tile roof. Pinkish-brown narrow-brick stack to rear at right with
oversailing course and pots. 2 storeys with attic, 2 first-floor
windows. Ground floor has glazed shop on plinth, canted in to
off-centre left entrance a part-glazed door; leaded overlights to
door and shop windows. First floor: two 2/2 horned sashes in
flush frames with ovolo-moulded surrounds and sills.
Ovolo-moulded eaves band. Attic roof dormer, gabled and with
casements.
INTERIOR: ground floor has boxed cross beam.
