War memorial. 1920. Portland stone ashlar. By ex-Lieut. F. Baccus, sculptor and monumental mason of Histon. The memorial is in the form of a wayside cross and stands on an octagonal stepped plinth. The faces of the plinth have cusped panels with inscriptions including the names of the Fallen from the parishes of Histon and Impington. The octagonal shaft rises above and forms a cross the arms of which are linked by a wreath. There are also the names of the Fallen in the 2nd World War.
This well-designed War Memorial stands next to Homefield Park.
