Magnet Tavern

GV II

Public house, Mid C18, altered C20. Red/brown brick, render,
plain tiled roof, brick coped gables, 2 gable stacks, that on
the right reduced.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attics, 5-bay front with rendered
plinth, 1st floor band, wooden dentilled eaves cornice.
Central door with 6-panel plain pilastered surround with small
cornice, flanked by pairs of glazing bar sashes. The
right-hand one and area of brickwork being a C20 alteration
back to the original form. To 1st floor 5 glazing bar sashes.
All sashes have brick segmental heads. In the roof 3 dormer
windows with divided sashes and lead segmental heads.
The roadside elevation is rendered and has two C20 tap room
windows at ground floor and sash window to 1st floor.
