Pair of houses now house and shop with flat above. Early C17
origins, altered C19 and C20. Rendered brickwork, steeply
pitched pantile roofs, coped gable, brick gable stack.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attics, 4-bay front with moulded
eaves fascia. Low central archway to through passage. To left
a small C19 shop front with thin moulded pilasters with
paterae and modern glazing. To right a wooden shop front with
central doorway and timber fascia. To first floor three C20
cross casements and to right a 3-light casement. 3 modern
flat-roofed dormers.
INTERIOR: retains some moulded beams.
HISTORY: the buildings were badly fire damaged in 1990 and so
little of internal note remains.
