Pair of shops, possibly purpose built or added to an earlier
building in the mid C19. c1840 with C20 alterations. Painted
brick with Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3-window range.
Continuous fascia with console brackets to shop front, over
wide 6-pane shop windows with recessed doorway each side.
Single 12-pane sash window above, flanked by 16-pane pivoting
windows renewed in original openings, all with flat-arched
stuccoed heads with stressed keystones. Moulded wood eaves
cornice to parapet front. End wall stack. Gable wall to No.36
rebuilt.
