GV II
Threshing barn. Probably early C18. Roughly coursed and
squared red sandstone with stone flagged roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 bay main structure with central threshing doors
(opposing doors in rear elevation concealed by later gabled
extension). Roof continues over 'aisle' extension to
north-west, and there is a doorway in this extension (which
forms part of the original build). 2-light mullioned window
with hoodmould in gable wall, and traces of a similar window
now blocked. Square loft entry in gable apex. Wing on south
side a somewhat later addition using a different sandstone and
brick.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
